His sentence certainly WAS appealed. His first appeal was denied in Mar 1999, then he withdrew a second appeal in Dec 2000 and asked for expedited execution. He was executed 6 months later, after ANOTHER appeal days before his execution was scheduled. But maybe you didn't actually read my post. McVeigh was arrested and imprisoned within DAYS and convicted and sentenced to death within 2 years. In his case, justice was relatively swift. Death penalty cases always take years, and sometimes decades in multiple appeals. But we are NOT talking about death penalty cases here and the lengthy death penalty appeals process has nothing to do with this discussion.

Trump administration members have been indicted, convicted and released after serving their sentence. Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Michael Cohen, Ken Kurson, Roger Stone, George Papadopoulos, etc. Federal Prosecutors can move swiftly when they want. The Dems who committed crimes at the same time have been free for 5 years and counting.

Will Durham eventually "get his man"? Will DOJ prosecute? I hope so. But other than for tertiary figures like Sussmann, I won't hold my breath for the wheels of justice to turn, and we'll be lucky if these people ever see the inside of a prison cell.

Well, in 1991 I and I suppose many others were paying attention to Gulf War One. In my case because my son’s unit of 82nd Airborne was “on mission” that August and immediately shipped to Saudi Arabia without even a chance to say goodby. So I missed the book info.
