I think 37-40 weeks might mean gestation.
In this case, investigators cannot prove that the babies were ever alive, and they have no cause or manner of death.
Of course the babies were alive. They survived and grew to full term. The legal question is: Were they born alive?
And if the baby killer acts quickly enough, the baby never draws breath, even if delivered alive, and doubt saves the killer.
This woman may be senile or affected by stroke now - she lives in "residential healthcare."

The woman was evil, not crazy. She held a job for years. Lived in a “normal” society for her entire life. I am not “spreading drama,” I am posting a news article.

I acknowledged that the children were the woman’s in post #12. That information was buried kind of deep in the story and did not appear in the long excerpt.
