I’d like to know the cause, my guess is that in IC cars it’s an electrical short that ignites plastics, etc. Both I saw had been parked for several hours when it happened.
For our entire history we had no interests in Ukraine…only in the last decade when it became and ATM for corrupt politicians and a blackhole of dark projects.
I was looking at a Santa Cruz, but bumped into a one owner, low miles, many service records 2013 Tacoma. That is a forever truck, and even gets a bit over 20 mpg.
It wasn’t there for long. I live on the east side of the Manzano Mountains, and the flight path to the airport is pretty much over my house. Yesterday at about 12:30 I heard a jet (non commercial) and it was this plane fairly low and not at speed going overhead. Kirtland doesn’t host many fighter craft since the Air Guard there was closed down, and they flew F-16’s.
I’m almost directly east of the Airport and just over the mountains from Kirtland. One passed overhead not too high up about 12:40 today. I know where it crashed, just slightly south and west of the airport. Wonder if the one I saw landed, refueled and took off again?
A skydiving business I frequented in the late 70’s sold their DC-3 to an “oil company” to use in Alaska. They got a call three months later that it had been found in the Everglades. That’s some really bad navigation.
