The Dems are going to go nuts watching this tonight.

Hillary might just feign illness after this....despite what her doctor says.

There's a reason she's not all over the place....she's too damn sick.

He’s not going to correct HB1 or free trade- because they’re not mistakes.

He will transform the GOP, and give back to you a Constitutional America. There can be no greater accomplishment.

He's sneaky. "Nobody was better at setting traps,"

I'm not expecting Cruz to set any traps for Trump. If anything, Cruz will trap others and Trump will take advantage.

HI COA— Most have not yet realized it, but Cruz has more charisma then any of them.

Walker will take on the liberals and win.
*********

Respectfully, he won’t. He won’t take on the GOP-E, and THEY’RE the liberals that must be defeated.

PJ, my friend, ultimately, Ted Cruz has a trap for all of them.

I was informed by the supporter of "another candidate" that maybe we should stop worrying about the old (constitutional) way and elect someone who does what needs to be done by any means necessary.

“So, one can bet, each candidate will have canned remarks at the ready to do just what you suggest.”

Canned answers won’t work - they have to be sincere and genuine, and the inquisitors may come up with new gotchas that you didn’t prepare for. So you have to go in there with an offensive mindset, rather than a fearful and defensive posture.

Thanks, cc...I’m going to send that out.

I’d agree with that.

"I was informed by the supporter of "another candidate" that maybe we should stop worrying about the old (constitutional) way and elect someone who does what needs to be done by any means necessary."

Well, then.

I informed one of those supporters that his candidate recently admitted to having some Democrat positions on the issues. The supporter said, "So what? So do I."

Cruz is smart - he’s been thinking, reasoning and debating his positions forever. I have never heard him make an incorrect statement.

Reading the comments in this snarky article, made me think of the Marine's motto: "When it absolutely, positively has to be destroyed overnight!"

All kidding aside, hearing the Big Boys have charged the wimps to "Take Trump OUT," is a joke!

Cruz has no reason to take out Trump when he agrees on almost all Trump's points but more importantly, Cruz knows the people agree more!

That's what's scaring the pants off the "wizards," who make it a point never mention the name Cruz (as though refusing to speak of him will make him go away!). I had almost bet good money that FNC and their liberal allies would contrive some way to keep Cruz off the top ten tonight, if they had to rig the numbers!

Just like Trump, most of the big money boys loathe Ted Cruz for they fear his love of the Constitution and his ability to out debate any one on the stage with him, will catch fire with the American People!

I hope we see Cruz take this situation and really show his strengths. This is, in fact, his best stage. He also needs to develop a way to not just out debate, but draw in voters to like and trust him. He’s got the skills, the principles and the spine to be a great American leader. He just needs to win over more people, including many who may not agree with him across the board.

They are trying to set the bar so high that they can beat Ted up over it later on. They must be scared sh*tless of his internal polling.

Gotcha fest? Of course. Anyone who’s actually been in a real formal debate knows it bears no resemblance to the minefield exercise that passes for a presidential “debate”, from Kennedy-Nixon till today. The closest thing I ever saw was the sit down table talk between Lieberman and Cheney in 2000. That was civil, substantive, and enlightening, and never been repeated for a reason. The press are committed character assassins for the Democrats and the two targets who know best how to handle them are Cruz and Trump.

If they’d been around in 1932 Weimar Germany that supporter would have made a fine Nazi.
