Columbia has come a long ways down since Ike was the school president.

“These are the extremist student leaders of the anti-Israel protest camp bringing Columbia to its knees’

i say kudos to them!

to my mind, it would be fantastic if these Marxist factories actually have to shut down for good because the insurrections on their property became permanent or at least last enough months to paralyze and corrode these anti-U.S. “institutions” into little piles of irrelevant cruft ... i so hope these outfits are hoist on their own petards..

so, quite frankly, i’m rooting for the campus insurrectionists to implode the Ivys and the rest of the Marxist factories once and for all!

These campuses actively recruited some types of students, strident militant alternative lifestyle people under DEI. To make them to our leaders of the future. I’d like to see their high school GPA and SAT test scores. In fact someone should do a blind (not able to see their names or face or gender) and look at all the applicants who applied to these schools, then separate out those who got admitted, then unblind them and see whether there was social promotion, eg whether certain types of people were given admission with lesser test scores and grades. Legacies probably do, donors, those who can pay all in cash, and some other reasons. And then find out who was discriminated against by denying their admission.

I doubt the schools will ever allow that. Though there was a case that went to the Supreme Court recently and the court ruled schools cannot use race or gender etc as a factor in admission. Maybe some of the data is out there or in that case file.

I find it ironic that James who describes himself as “queer”, supports an organization that openly kills gays.

I watched a video of a Muslim Imam in the Middle East lamenting that all the pro-Palestinian protestors in America were homos.

He was shouting in Arabic, "If you go to one of these protests, the man you are standing next to will have taken another man's penis into his rectum!"

Funny stuff.

Police detain 100 in pro-Palestinian protest camp at Boston’s Northeastern University

Police detained about 100 people as they moved in to clear an encampment of pro-Palestinian protesters in response to the use of anti-Semitic slurs, the school said.

The action was taken after protesters resorting to “virulent anti-Semitic slurs, including ‘Kill the Jews,’ crossed the line,” the school said in a statement on social media platform X.

I wonder how the US MSM would freak out if there was group of people in a counter-protest/encampment, that yelled “Kill the Palestinians!!!” ???

THAT would receive WALL-to-WALL Coverage, no doubt!!

“I do not understand the reasoning these wusses running these schools are taking…”

Depends on the state. New York is a Democrat-controlled state, with a weak governor who is dependent on Democrat Progressive support. Senators Schumer and Gillibrand are scared to death of opposition from the Squad and Democrat Socialists of America. The most influential newspaper here (the New York Times) as well as most TV outlets headquartered here are partial to the protestors.

Imagine the outcry from this bunch and leftist professors if the cops were called in once more and violence ensued.

Note the response to what is going on, from the two NY Senators, has been crickets.
