Ya gotta roll with the flow. You'll get used to it.

Thanks for calling attention to this beautiful place...neither I, nor the hubby have ever been to Mississippi, but in a few years, once retired, we plan to visit as many of Americas wonderful places that we can, especially wanting to see places we have never seen before....this looks like a most wonderful place, and thanks for all the information and pictures you have provided...will bookmark this for further reference and travel material...

How nice of you, Dawg, to take the missus to such a grand place...

We're thinking of moving to the coast. We drove down there to check out the small towns just north of there. Found a beautiful little town called Perkinston about 20 miles North of Gulfport that has some nice homes in our price range. Several were located on lakes, which is much to my liking. Going to Beauvoir is a must if you're in the vicinity of Biloxi.

I intend to make a habit of it. The research section of the Presidential Library is right up my alley.

My retirement home will be a replica (albeit smaller) of Beauvoir. I have a large painting of the house in my office and a smaller one in my home. The architects are working on the final plans now. My main problem now is to find a suitable place for it. Maybe somewhere between Houston and Beaumont.

That's gonna be a beauty. If you can't front it on the Gulf, I'd find a nice lake to put it on. That'd be real sweet.
