Too short, IMO. But no matter the length, it is always too short.
We had a very nice time catching up on the all-important "stuff." I do ask for your, and everyone's, prayers for my dad. He is suffering from some kind of degenerative hip problem - the doctors haven't figured out what it is yet (they are still doing tests and more tests he tells me). It is hard for him as he has always been used to doing anything and going anywhere, and now it is more difficult.
BTW - There's a story going 'round that it's Bit's birthday. In fact, I think every day is Bit's birthday now.
I'm not disputing that Jane. I just resent the implication that the Church is filled with nothing but Pedophiles and sex offenders...and that this problem is something JUST NOW to be brought into the limelight....anyone who doesn't KNOW and doesn't THINK this has been going on for EONS is mistaken...but it's just the prime opportunity to, again, bash religion. Isn't it ironic how liberals promote Homosexuality and Pedophilieeiocas(whatever youcallit) when it suits THEIR agenda....and can attack it when it also suits THEIR agenda....like can only be a Ped or A Gay person if you are in the RIGHT profession.

I checked out the website, and it truly doesn't do justice to the actual seminar.
It kinda sounds like it is more of a church outreach...(actually it is)....but the seminar leader TRULY expressed selfless giving WITHOUT expectations for reward or immediate gratification.
Yes, it is an outreach.........Folks tend to care more what you're saying if you show them you care genuinely for them, and their needs.
Well, check it out........it may or may not be your cup of tea.......but you have to admit, when done in a right attitude, it can surely impact your community.

I've been watching/taping the Queen Mother's funeral.
Must run soon, however.......Dad is getting some stitches out of his forehead (skin cancer)....and bless his heart, this is the second time the doctor has had to dig very deeply.....and it leaves Dad with two very black, very puffy black eyes for days.

LOL, I KNOW I'm not a spring chick any more.......Took a 'step aerobics' class yesterday, and last night, I got such a 'hitch' in my calf muscle, I was limping around in agony......Sigh...
...but I'm not giving up.......back to aerobics tomorrow :)
Well, enough about that. It is still damp here this morning. I hope things dry out a bit so that I can get some more yard work done. I don't have enough poison ivy yet. LOL!
