Yes, stray cats do have that gift of "suck-up." Have you ever read a book titled "The Silent Miaow (A Manual for Kittens, Strays and Homeless Cats)"? It is priceless. It is written in the form of an autobiography of a cat who used these methods to adopt his family and all his adventures with them. It is really cute.

This kitty found us when she was a tiny kitten. We've had her for several years. We sure are lucky she found us!

Isn't it a cool slide .. they use to have a high dive there but because of insurance reasons they had to get rid of it and they put the slide in

I think the kids at the pool like the slide a whole lot better .. LOL

Hiya girl.....great to see you even though I know it is gonna be short.

I get jokes/puns/limericks from all over the US. Most come from my old boss who retired years and years ago....he's in his late 70s. We've kept in touch since about 1975.

This guy is a real hoot. Name is Bob. The office always got a nice birthday cake for him. I think I was the only one in the office not afraid of the gruff old bastard! In fact, I once told him I didn't have to take his shit--that I was looking for a job when I got that one; that he'd treat me like a lady and not yell at me or he could shove it...here we are 27 years still good friends!

Anyway, everyone was wondering what to have put on the cake...and I said "Happy Birthday, SOB".....everyone nearly fainted until I explained that next to the S in little tiny letters "weet", next to the O in little tiny letters 'ld', and next to the B in littly tiny letters "ob".....

They were not too sure, but I said I'd go get him and bring him back to the lunchroom and take the heat if the fan suddenly received a shovelful!!

I went up to his office and ask if we could talk -- in such a way as to give the impression if was more a personal working sort of problem--that I had to be close enough to catch the phones, so could we go to my area boss (superintendent of construction and maintenance) conference room or the lunch room....so he said lunch room so he could get a cup of coffee.

We chatted going back and when we went in, here's the cake and everyone standing around quietly saying "happy birthday". He looked at the cake and got a pissed off look and then looked closer and suddenly began cracking up....he musta laughed for 5 minutes! Wouldn't let anyone cut it til he got his camera out so he could get photos!

OMG---sweet...on Alan Keyes show, Bob Arnot just reported from Jerusalem that the sonsabitches are not only putting nails and screws and ballbearings in the boms, they are putting in rat poison to prevent blood from clotting....the surgeons are really stressed out.

Arnot said they are looking at chem/bio stuff to also put in them.

Rowdee that is terrible. I just read on another thread that Chris Matthews is really "going off" on Tom Delay and basically saying that the Palestinians are justified yada yada yada. That motor mouthed gasbag is gonna get an email from me. I will NEVER watch his show again. I would like to see all freeoples boycot him for sure. He has become really disgusting.

One of Alan Keye's guests walked out! I love it. Alan pretty much told the guy that he was sick to death of these people expecting some kind of understanding for the kinds of acts that the terrorists are doing in Israel and said that there was NO moral equvolency. He shut that a*****e down cold and he got mad and walked out! It was a beautiful thing. I would like to see a few more American talk show hosts and newspeople take such a strong stand and send these mouthy terrorist sympathizers packing. They may not understand common sense and decency, but they understand when somebody gets so outraged that they will no longer allow them to spew their crap. These people just can't keep their mouths shut and listen and maybe actually think about what most of us are feeling.

So do I. Just looking at some of the parameters of the fires, there is utter devastation in places,and a lot of it is in some of my favorite camping and hiking places. Dawn said that they're rerouting traffic all over the place and that it's a real mess right now. God, I hope it breaks soon.

Well, the only reason I MSNBC at all is for Alan Keye's show. When he's gone, I'm gone. And I won't watch that sorry Greta van Sustern either. I guess I will start watching Andy Griffith and Leave it to Beaver in that time slot.

Hi Libby: Boy I wish I got the Alan Keyes show. What a contrast from Matthews huh?!!! Actually I would love to see Matthews be a guest on Keyes show. That would probably be a real show stopper.
