Agree! LOL! It's my son's choice, and he got up way early to watch,

(and I'm thinking it's the real reason he decided to come home this weekend...)

I should have expected that from someone who likes Kirk. Soccer is an exciting game, especially when the USA is playing. The other countries cannot believe that we have done so well. It isn't our sport, but we have been holding our own. We weren't supposed to win ANY games, but we've done right well.

It's fun to not only beat the snobs at our games, but also at theirs.

The gators are a lot friendlier than the heat and humidity. It only gets worse when July and August come around. But having the reunion here in Lafayette would definitely make it easier for me to show up. 8^)

I'd expect that you are biased because Picard is a Frenchy. Hey, I'm all for the red, white, and blue. But as the greatest starship captain of all time, Kirk, would say:

"Go USA!........But..........don't.........force me.........to watch.............soccer!"

Not to mention to genuine Cajun cooking. Now I would travel for that!

Okay, now we have two votes for Lafayette for the ATRW get together. All we need now, Chair, is about 100 more. 8^)

Not so, Kokomo. Soccer is NOT my favorite game; it's just not boring. Basketball is my favorite, followed by Auburn football.

Okay, with you, me, the Chair, and since we can buy Bit's vote, that makes 4 for Lafayette. We're on a roll! 8^)

A week or so ago, I was eating steamers, and my cousins thought that would make me squeamish..

So.....I described the delicious habit of sucking the heads of crawfish! Ha! That silenced them!

I'm voting for Cajun country. Especially if it includes a run to Preservation Hall followed by Cafe Du Monde. I love to breakfast on beignets.

Soccer is nothing more than a bunch of people running around kicking a ball that, once in a blue moon, actually lands in the net. 1-nil, 1-1, and never forget that most devilishly tantalising nil-nil score. I do enjoy March Madness, as that lovely award for winning the FReeper NCAA pool shows. As for football, it's simply the best, and I love the SEC. But I hear that Tuberville is on the hot seat down on the Plains.
