Right. Because the constitution didn’t exist when the declaration was signed doesn’t mean the declaration disregards the constitution. The constitution is just one possible resultant government the declaration claims as a natural Right. I’d submit therefore the declaration is the superior of the two.
I was a flight attendant where smoking was allowed.
90% of the people in smoking were non smokers - and not by choice. The smokers took the non smoking seats and would venture back to smoke but then go back to their non smoking seats because they couldn’t stand the smell or smoke. Same with this, I am sure.

I’m of the thinking that of the 20% or less, that are actually Combat Soldiers, won’t be doing much fighting against the people. Especially since so many of them come from the areas that want the divorce.

The Declaration of Independence is one of the founding documents. If one wants to go by the US Constitution, it is null and void. Breached numerous times by the Federal government. How many wars without legal authority? A federal police force with powers in sovereign States? This country is supposed to be 50 different nation/states, bound together by a contract on how they will be bound together. It is not one nation, with teeny tiny govts that bow to the Federal behemoth. The United States of America is a dream from long ago, and it is dead. The rich and powerful know this, act like this is true, but keep their boot on our backs and tell us it is love of country.

Nope.
Not only that, but the Articles of Confederation, which was replaced by the U.S. Constitution, contained the following:
”And that the articles thereof shall be inviolably observed by the states we respectively represent, and that the union shall be perpetual. “
There is no mention of “perpetual” in the U.S. Constitution.
And I’m sure that’s something that was debated in the Constitutional convention, if anyone wants to bother digging through those notes.
