If one of my relatives were in jail, too bad.

It may not crumble, they may eventually take over everything and turn us into a leftist totalitarian state with laws and horrors based on their insanity. I heard in that speech she also said colleges have to “get rid of all the Jewish professors” and this a TAXPAYER funded college!!! And they call us Nazis??

Withdraw a few hundred every week/month as a workaround. Start now. Bills no larger than $20, so they’ll be easy to use for common transactions.

Our color revolution is already over - has been since 2015.

What you are experiencing now is Gleichschaltung. If your knowledge of German history comes from an American school, look it up. (Noumenon, I'm sure you know what it means).

Once you understand Gleichschaltung, it makes current events in the US much easier to understand.

Like, how could a coordinated violent attack on Washington DC on January 20, 2017, arranged in public using open media, result in all charges against the insurrectionists being dismissed in open court, in a District controlled absolutely (legislate in ALL CASES WHATSOEVER) by a Republican Congress?

This is so confusing to people on our side that they actually choose not to think about it.

That's because the existence of a "Republican Party" has them believing that overturning the color revolution of 2009-2017 using legal, peaceful means is possible.

How much do you know about the Red Fighting Front and what happened to them?

“Why am I withdrawing ALL my money,? Because I am moving it to a bank that won’t ask such questions!”

That’s just it, though. The left will regulate ‘all’ banks to do what they want. And cash will be fundamentally transformed into useless paper, anyway. Black market purchases will be made with Weimar-Republic style “deals”. The radical left will tie everything up so that they have full and total control of everyone’s “short hairs”.

That’s how the commies have always wanted it. The Covid lockdowns and mandates were just a small taste of what’s coming. Especially now that they’ve seen how compliant and sheep-like most Americans are.

> If one of my relatives were in jail, too bad. <

Ha! And some of my relatives who are not in jail belong there.

Anyway, it’s amazing how clever (and how evil) these scammers are.

They’ll use a recording of a sobbing, terrified girl saying “Grandma, I’m in jail. Please, please help me!” Then the recording cuts off. The scammer comes on, identifies himself as a police officer, and says a $1000 bail must be paid immediately.

These calls go out automatically to thousands of phone numbers. Some people recognize the scam. Some people aren’t even grandmothers. But maybe one person out of 10,000 believes it. And that’s a decent payday for the scammers.

The COVID panic was a wake-up call. I used to scoff at people who kept sizable quantities of money in their house. Now I understand. My target is to have three months worth of spending in Federal Reserve Notes under my direct control. In addition, I have a stack of precious metals for when "our" government finishes the collapse of the dollar as we've known it.

There is another reason. I never agreed to the Terms of Service that says that when I deposit money in the bank, it becomes THEIR money and I become a creditor to the institution. It isn't MY money until it is in my hands, or under my direct and unfettered control. Contrast the bank with the stock broker who holds onto my securities -- I can ask for the fully paid securities on deposit with them any time I want them, no questions asked.

Do a search on "bail-in" if you need more convincing.

“Free-gift QR code scam....take you to a malicious website.”

“nimble-fingered crooks affix fake barcode stickers over the real ones on the back of gift cards in stores. When you purchase the card, the cashier scans the fake barcode at checkout — directing your money into the scammer’s gift card account.”

“After luring targets, they contact those who respond by phone, email or social media and ask for personal ID information, including account numbers and passwords, plus an advance fee for their services payable by gift card, cryptocurrency or wire transfer.”

“The caller [after trying to access one of your accounts] tells you they’re emailing or texting you a ‘onetime passcode’ for logging in and asks you to read it back to them for verification”

“you may receive an email about rescheduling a drop-off or a fake ‘package delivery attempt’ sticker on your front door. Their goal? To get you to provide personal information [or simply click on a link they provide. That link then downloads malware that will harvest passwords and account info from your computer].”

“Scammers often place fake ads on social media sites for products at too-good-to-be-true prices, take your order and payment info, then tell you the item’s not available right now. Your refund is on the way, they promise, but it never arrives.”

“A text message addressed to someone else pops up on your phone. It seems urgent — a rescheduled business meeting, or maybe a romantic get-together. You text back, ‘Sorry, wrong number!’ The scammer keeps up the friendly texts, and may eventually invite you to join an adult website to see revealing pictures so you hand over credit card info and money, or try to convince you to make a cryptocurrency investment (and take your money). ”

“One trick is ‘check washing,’ in which crooks steal checks from mailboxes and bathe them in household chemicals to erase the original name and dollar amount, leaving blank spaces they can fill in.”

“Scammers try to exploit dog lovers by offering cute puppies for sale on the web.”

“Student loan forgiveness scam....stealing applicants’ Social Security numbers and bank information”

“fake payday loans...Loan applicants are told they’ll need to prepay a fee.”

“The bot will make a robocall or send a text that appears to come from a bank, asking you to authorize a charge, then it asks you to enter the authentication code you’ve just been sent”

“Crooks...posing as internet love interests...cajole their targets into downloading an app and investing in fake crypto accounts....While the app displays data that seems to show your wealth growing, criminals are just taking your money.”

“Why are you taking out $50,000?”

“Because the guy in the car outside needs it as security for the five million he is going to split with me next week.”

“Oh, okay! Check out our money market CDs when you come back!”

“He had no right to ask. But lucky that he did. The lady had received a scam phone call telling her that her social security number was being suspended for nonpayment of taxes. And she would not be getting any more social security checks until she paid that tax. Using gift cards, of course.”

Isn’t that what Congress does to the seniors? Scare you into thinking your s.s. check will stop if you don’t support passage of more govt waste.

That’s not something to encourage because home invaders will get encouraged by that too.

All you need is money for food. The Democrats will ensure their base doesn’t suffer and base members live in your neighborhood too.

“Precious metals” will not get you far because most people have no means of verifying their genuineness.

***********

I subscribe to what Thatcher said: “eventually you run out of other peoples’ money”. When that happens things will get very ugly. The economic pain that lies ahead will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Someone referred to it as the Greater Recession. We’ll soon see. Whatever, the country is on an unsustainable moral and financial path IMO. As I said in another post, we are Rome without the Togas.

I suspect PVC pipe, end caps and PVC cement would work.

I’ve never tried to bury a dollar but enclosing and burying paper money on a low humidity day would be best.

You make a great point. Interesting and disturbing perspective.

The government has wildly and irresponsibly overspent yet it wants to spend more to “prevent” insolvency. Its like saying I’m way overweight for eating too much but I’ll starve to death if you put me on a diet and refuse to load up my plate with more food.

Total nonsense, but its a scam that works for TPTB.

I was half kidding.. mason jars were used during and after the first great depression because a lot of folks didn’t trust banks.

Although, i have seriously thought about how could you bury a lot of cash.. gold ..silver. PVC could work. Although, you have to consider natural disasters. heavy rains and erosion..flooding..fires.

My best conclusion: fire and waterproof safe in a HIDEN cinderblock root cellar type structure.
and hope that stuff has value when the second great depression occurs.
Ive always read that VICES.. cigarettes ,drugs like marijuana and pain pills. Even sugar and caffeine would be more valuable than cash during a total crash.
Trade/barter.

Oh, get into the prepper movement. Cash goes well in a fire proof safe buried face up in a hole in the garage floor.
