AI has been helpful in generating some Java routines, but the stagnant content of the current Chat GPT 3.5 language model is rapidly becoming stale with respect to improvements in many frameworks.

Clif High observed that AI is terrible about keeping track of complex units when performing scientific calculations. Always check it very carefully.

When searching for solutions to problems that have commonly plagued other developers, places like Stackoverflow are often very good. When that resource fails to perform, I give Chat GPT a shot at finding a solution. Sometimes it hits the spot, but increasingly it offers solutions that would have been fine 3 years ago, but are now heavily deprecated.
