Gain of function is biological weapons research. They pretend it’s for vaccines for something that “could” just occur. In reality, the vaccines are to protect your own soldiers from the weapon you’re making. You have to build the shield before you finish the sword.
End it was not a lab leak. China had massive protests in Wuhan and Hong Kong in the fall of 2019. The Tiananmen Square solution was no longer viable in today’s trade intensive world. They couldn’t get away with it like they did back in 88 or 89. So they released a garden-variety version of SARS deliberately. Combined with a lot of hype, such as videos of people collapsing dead in the street etc. they created a panic. The second goal was to prevent trumps reelection so DC was happy to go along.
It was not a leak. It was an attack on Chinese people who wanted Freedom, and the American people who wanted their good economy and President Trump. It was not a leak.

That is also why we see Fauci and everybody else being coy and admitting the lab elite theory is probably true. They aren’t suddenly being honest. Their only alternative is to say lab leak.

This is the first time in history that a handful of people working in a lab can kill the majority of human beings on earth. All it takes is to serial passage the right virus for a 10% lethality (like SARs1) and improve its virulence. Given the number of carbon cult malthusians at the levers of power, I think it’s only a matter of time before the culling and control begins. SO they released an average SARS bug. Just had to be scary enough to justify mass repression.
