We have God’s word about helping Israel & we should have common sense concerning our own borders in the interest of national sovereignty. Beyond that, we seem to be attending to an awful lot that is not helping us.

Just so we’re clear...

I did mention Israel: “...probably the only western state that has a budget surplus...”

My stated position on that country (from years ago):
1. The only reason Israel hasn’t removed the problems in the middle east is because of US.

2. Israel is not the U.S.’s biggest foreign policy problem. In fact, it’s just the opposite. The U.S. is Israel’s biggest problem.

3. It would be a lot cheaper to simply throw a Star Of David on the U.S. flag. Full Statehood would be cheaper and would send a more effective message.

You want to be the world’s policeman? Fine. But like all other police forces, we should protect our own house FIRST.

You and I will disagree on this. This has nothing to do with concepts such as freedom of navigation on the seas, which I support military action to ensure.

This has zero to do with us being introverts, in the same way someone who is the life of the party, but has no money, has to stop going to the parties and buying everyone drinks and gifts.

It has EVERYTHING to do with spending money you, your children, your grandchildren, and your great grandchildren don’t have, on causes you have zero strategic interests in supporting, for people who are intent on capturing your greedy politicians by laundering money back to them.
