You guys are most welcome.
From the noises coming out of the main stream media lately, it looks like we all will have to step up the defense of our beloved Founders and our Constitution.

You are talking about that idiotic blogpost by that moron Schama?
To: colorado tanker
That, and the issue of TIME where that idiot editor questions the continued usefulness of the Constitution. And other blatherings that come and go in the media about the "living, breathing" Constitution, and the fact that the kids do not learn any US history in school anymore other than about leftwing gods and demi-gods.
This is the final frontier for the left...

What these guys don't get is that originalism does not stand for the proposition that the Founders were demigods who got everything right the first time. Originalism stands for democratic government, rule by consent of the governed. The Constitution is the document that the people agreed to and it should be enforced in accordance with that original agreement. If and when it needs to be changed, it should be by the democratic procedures it contains and NOT at the whim of unelected judges. By attacking originalism, liberals are attacking the very idea of rule of the people, by the people and for the people.

You are preaching to the proverbial choir! It’s the ignorant, know-it-all, nanny-state leftists that need to understand that...
