“A bird that had previously gone extinct came back to life”

Do they have to be on fire to qualify as a phoenix bird?

Lurkinanloomin is trying to be a killjoy with that “Or they never were extinct” stuff. How can we have a totally cool ‘came back from the dead’ story that way?

I know, Respect for the dead, undead, nearly dead, soon to be dead, thought they were dead and I’d still like to kill them if you don’t mind, seems extinct on this thread.

What’s a Freeper to do?

>>But thanks to “iterative evolution,” which evolves similar body parts due to genetics from a similar ancestor, the bird came back from the dead.

So when are the dinosaurs coming back thanx to global warming?

>> If they could not fly, presumably they could walk, else they’re little more than an entree laying on the beach.

Take away the trees and the birds
All have to sit upon the ground, uum
Take away their wings and
The birds will have to walk to get around
And take away the bird baths
And dirty birds will soon be ev’rywhere
Take away their feathers and
The birds will walk around in underwear
Take away their chirp and the
Birds will have to whisper when they sing
And take away their common sense and
They’ll be headed southward in the spring

Oh remember my darling
When spring is in the air
And the bald headed birds
Are whisp’ring ev’rywhere
You can see them walking
Southward in their dirty underwear
That’s Tennessee Bird walk

“Early fossils of the bird suggest it lived there thousands of years ago and died out because it could not fly to higher ground when rising sea levels threatened its safety.

Apparently it couldn’t walk either let alone fly, Glued in place, it couldn’t survive, Imagine that! You would need a vivid imagination to believe this story. College Campuses are outraged!
