just checked- my calcium on last 3 tests was 9.4, 9.2, and 9.2 again- i don’t see any pth tests though-
Calcium levels can bounce around.
Having a lot of stored vitamin a causes bone problems.
just found a sheet with things ive been diagnosed with- one is “MultiNodular Goiter” (no noticeable swelling in the neck)- which causes hypothyroidism- but my endocrine doc checked all hormonal levels, and they are fine- (that was several years ago)
As with the parathyroid symptoms, the hypothyroid symptoms come very close to my symptoms- but a few i don’t have- like headaches, high blood pressure- etc-
Yeah I’ll have ot ask my doc next month if they ever checked PTH levels- she’ll have all the info I’m sure- I’ll have to write that down to ask-, and also mention the symptoms are quite similar to either para or regular thyroid issues- I just hope she doesn’t order another neck scan lol-
Yeah, ive got more blood test sheets i can check too- going back a number of years- I’ll have to dig those out and check the calcium levels too-
I had Gout about 4 times in my life, all the same big toe joint on my right foot. I was given some Allopurinol, but decided against taking it. The problems with vision changes scared me off of it. There are many side effects from this drug, what’s new. https://www.askapatient.com/viewrating.asp?drug=18659&name=ALLOPURINOL
thanks ill check that out- been on it for awhiel now- good to know0-
