No, I wasn’t referring to the Flintstones. About two decades off.
Outside of Snagglepuss or Hokey Wolf, I’m drawing a blank.
I discontinued Disney plus awhile back.
That wasn’t good enough, so I recently turned off cable. Now, mostly we watch reruns through my $20 one time purchase of a ROKU. 70s and 80s sitcoms are current favorites. It’s fun to watch what life was like when people were generally happy.
Wbill Jr recently had a chance to go to Disney. “No thank you, I’m not interested”. He’s a really smart kid.
I’m sure that our little bit won’t put Disney out of business….. but I get several email offers a day for discount hotels in Orlando that I never saw before all this wokeness sprung up. Guessing that there’s probably a correlation there.
And BTW, Disney plus was $10 a month and cable was $110. That’s $1500 a year for something we only kept mostly due to inertia. We would watch out of habit, that’s all. And usually, see the same things over and over.
$1500 in after tax dollars takes a lot of time to earn.
It used to be Disney material was supposed to be safe. Who is going to watch Disney movies etc.?
