My understanding is there is a paper trail and Biden tried to un do it. Yes the President can just declare classified documents as de-classified. It is that simple. Also, many documents can be marked classified but have no more relevance. For example Presidential travel routes are marked classifies. After the trip is over they are still marked as such (they don’t use disappearing ink) but the documents marked are really not top secret.
And, what is so hard to understand Trump had the authority to “declassify any thing he wants any time he wants”.
Like the Fox girl it seems people just don’t listen. Argue the expert does not know what he is talking about if you want but don’t pretend he said nothing.

Often the interviews are thinking about what they are going to ask next and they don’t listen to what their guest is saying. She obviously did not listen!
