I’ve been using Restasis for at least 10 years. It’s very expensive so when the generic came out, I was thrilled. There are a few other alternatives, but they are equally as expensive.
It’s prescribed for extremely dry eyes that no other medication will help.
No side effects for me and it works.

Most doctors don’t concern themselves with the underlying causes - they treat symptoms (like dry eyes).
They treated my dad’s reflux for 15 years, rather than addressing the underlying cause (heliobacter). As a result, he died from adenocarcinoma caused by years of acid eating away at the esophagus (that was being treated with patent medicine).
We found out about a few doses of the right antibiotics would have cured his reflux, after he died. Even though a doctor won the nobel prize for discovering this way back in 2005, THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY STILL TREATS REFLUX THE SAME WAY.....Lots of people are dying just like my Dad did.
I urge you to educate yourself on your health, and take responsibility for it.
It may be you are on the best path for your problem, but the likelihood is not high, given the state of medical care, and “Big Pharma”s almost total control over what is prescribed and how disease is treated.

I’ve had gastric reflux for years. Alkaline water help me reverse the problem.
The price for my eye drops is very good at Cost Plus, but the bad thing is there’s no phone number to call and ask questions.
First, as I suggested, please read and educate yourself. Just taking pills recommended by people (even doctors) is NOT the answer. It’s KNOWING the root causes and risks, and the risks of treatment.

Once you have killed out heliobacter, you have also killed your GOOD PRO-BIOTIC organism from your digestive tract. This is BAD as well!!!
So, what do you do? Take Pro-Biotics!!!! Establish the Good bacteria back in your gut. There are MANY reasons you need to do it.
For example if you kill out all the beneficial bacteria, you will probably become depressed. (mental condition).

Why is depression so rampant today? All the processed food decimates the good bacteria in your gut.
