How about they assassinate someone in the US? How about they set off a bomb in the USD? Would you call that an escalation?
You really think the Ruzzians are stupid and suicidal enough to trigger Article V of the Atlantic Charter? Because then they really will get their worthless carcasses curbstomped and by close to forty allied nations.
Tell yourself that close to 40 will be on board.
Even if it’s just Finland then Ruzzia will be screwed. It’s a weak and pathetic shadow of the empire it used to be. Their glory days are behind them. No one fears them anymore and the wolves are circling...just waiting for the right time to make the kill.
Here’s the thing, as bad as “The Troubles” have been in Ireland, you have Irishmen Catholic and Protestant, and they can be fairly forgiving good humored people, end of the day. The Slavic diaspora is a different thing, altogether.
