As long as the hard drive is not encrypted yes. However you can also recover the images by booting a live Linux image from a flash drive, then transfer the files to an additional flash drive or network storage. This method does not require disassembly or adapter cables, as long as the PC will boot the live image. Just be sure not to install Linux, just boot from the flash drive.
A quick thing you can try is search your computer for your username. Again, not as familiar with MasOS, but it’s not hard to search (any search engine) for options using Finder and Spotlight that search most file contents on your Mac. Now if the username is coded in some form, it probably won’t work, but worth a try.
Yes, generally speaking, that will work. I have recovered files from a bad system disk several times that way.
If the disk is not damaged...
You need the harness that adapts the PCI-SCSI disk to a USB adapter. Then you mount the disk and copy the folders from it that you want to save. Easy, peasy.
If the disk is damaged, you may be able to recover some of the contents with a disk recovery utility. You need a second USB drive to do that safely as the utility copies what it can salvage from the old drive to a new drive. You don't want that new drive to be your system disk. If the recovery goes badly, the target disk may fill up with trash files or duplicate files.

ya I heard it was that easy that is why I worded my post that way. Just needed re-assurance if you will!! Being a bit of a dummy in this field, I just wanted to make sure that the virus wouldnt transfer over. I really didnt think a windows 7 virus would attack a windows 10 that easily... thanks!! I’ll hit best buy for that adaptor this weekend!!

There must a way to see thru a vpn as the Reddit site is known to do so as they cancel customers all the time. Make sure your login somewhere is not tied to google like a gmail account.

I’ve only been on Reddit for a week and have already been banned unjustly and harassed by biased, power hungry moderators. If this is how Reddit operates, then this website should count its days. If users are having horrible experiences because moderators are running rampant, drunk on power, then I can’t imagine many users sticking around years from now.

Just install Windows as you would normally. It is separate from the main Windows OS you have.
