Homemade V8 ping. Did just 8 quarts this past summer. Our own veggies. We are rationing a quart a month. Taking a shot of that just gives me the shivers, I can feel the good effects. We plan on making twice as much next year. So I believe this about the salmonella.

My dogs don’t normally stink unless they roll in/on something.

This afternoon, they were rolling around on an unfortunate groundhog.

I’ll get some Fabreze and give it a try.

Thanks Rocco.

LOL! V-8 Juice and Bloody Mary Mix are pretty much the only reason I grow tomatoes.

Well, Salsa, too. ¡Arriba, Arriba! :)

How about spaghetti sauce?

Almost every day I make sure I have a little tomato sauce, or actual tomatoes. It's my salad dressing. Grated cheese also when I have it. Tomato paste is a good survival food. Some vitamin A and C plus,

Tomato sauce contains lycopene, which has been associated with a reduced risk of heart disease by helping to lower LDL cholesterol levels and support cardiovascular health. Moreover, the antioxidant properties of lycopene can also help reduce the risk of certain cancers, particularly prostate cancer. - https://facts.net/tomato-sauce-nutrition-facts/

Praise the Lord.

I make low carb tomato soup: 1 can tomato sauce, 1/2 can cream, 1/2 can water, fake sugar to taste. Yum.

That sounds yummy!

Since we don’t eat (many) grains, I’ll have to try a version of this pizza.

The low sodium version is loaded with potassium. I use it as one of my main ingredients in a very acidic salad dressing, it tastes great and is very healthy.
