Please introduce yourselves to Selucreh, the newest member of the MS ping list.

I've been corresponding w/ him by FreepMail. He's a nice guy (a Delta boy and a Navy vet), and I think he'll enjoy meeting some 'core' MS Freepers.

(No flirting, onyx! :-P )

I would have expected Arkansas to drop after the Clintons moved to NY and HRC stopped donating Bill's (used) boxers, then writing off the donation.

The blue states are generous with other people's money. But Blanco boldly (or is it brazenly?) continues to ask Bush for blue state dollars.

If you looked at the county by county map,
you'd think we were a red state.
There are only a few blue counties but, unfortunately,
they are heavily populated.
Multnomah County would be considered midnight blue. ;o)

We DID vote for the Marriage Amendment, even though
the gay groups poured almost all of their money into this
state trying to defeat it.
They figured this is THE state where it could pass.
The Universal Health Coverage folks did the same thing
a couple of years ago.
That measure went down with 80% voting against it.

This state is borderline schizophrenic, and I'm being
nice in saying "borderline". ;o)

Man, there's hardly anything I love more than watching libs pour their money down a hole.

Perhaps the rest of the country should take up a collection to have Oregon crop-dusted with some lithium??

Hello Selucreh.
Welcome to FR and the MS ping list.

I cannot say anything else,
as per orders from bourbon.

No need in crop-dusting the whole state.
Do this to Portland, alone, and the political
dynamics of the entire state would change.
