How stupid are these people???? Christmas Trees are NOT a Christian symbol!!!!!!! they are Pagan historically.

I love Christmas Trees! I love Nativity Scenes, Christmas Carols, Santa Clause, Elves, Mistletoe and Reindeer! Idiots like these two are destroying Christmas.

The letter that states his political and religious positions http://www.kingcountyjournal.com/sited/story/html/180257
Being I couldn't find an email I am sending a copy of this to david.grant@kingcountyjournal.com
Mr. Stock you have achieved the following with me who assumes you represent the Jewish position
I will actively oppose Jews having any influence in our government.
I will oppose any and all, military and financial aid dispensed to Israel.
I will actively support a neutral position on the Israel Palestine situation with no involvement in negotiations.
Defer any and all responsibilities of protecting Israel to the UN considering your position on Viet Nam (Its not politically correct but we all know if Israel disappeared so wouldn't most of our middle east problems) this should please you.
Gosh following your thinking sure makes everything a lot simpler.
Thanks to vox signeystock@earthlink.net

So, you apologise for the baseless charge you made? Just admit it was false, apologise, and regain your manhood.

...Stock said on Tuesday about the tree. ``It devalues our separation of religion and state.

Correction Mr. Stock. It devalues your stupid interpretation of our separation of church and state, and gives it the respect it deserves. Which is none.

As I type this I'm sitting in an office ten miles north of Bellevue. And you're absolutely right, CL. Easter, for example, is taken from Zoroastrianism, which incidently was the religion of the three wise men who brought gifts to the Lord. Despite this, I believe from their actions these three wise men were true believers, though they held a "pagan" religion. Many of our traditions come from that religion, and are more cultural than religious. The Christmas tree is a perfect example.

Atheists hate any expression, esp. public, that reminds them of what they know to be true: there is a God, He is a moral Being and not passive, and they will stand before Him one day to give an account for "every idle word". That's why they contend so vociferously for naturalistic explanations of our existence. Indeed, dialoging with an atheist you can feel like he's trying harder to convince himself of his arguments than you. Romans 1-3 says it all...

Hope all is well with you.

Thanks for the contact information. I will send him a Christmas card that shows a nativity scene with Our Lord Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph.

Merry Christmas Mr. Stuck, I mean Stock.

You wrote: To say it's christian is so darn discriminatory, and just taking a huger leap-sticking his foot into his own mouth!!!!!!

I don't see why these freaks can't just accept that Christian or Pagan, it is now an American tradition. Big friggin deal!
