"Hmmm... I'm having the strangest feeling of deja vu."

Hmmm...me too...although mine is that the FReepers over there are doing a better job of disruption than the born-in-'04 DUmmies over here.

Aw, geez, you got me. And I worked so hard to keep up my facade, too. I wrote essays demolishing Arnebeck and calling DUers delusional. I shredded Kerry's plan for drug reimportation, tore apart his "Nuisance" gaffe, made fun of his physical appearance, and mocked his wife. I blasted Michael Moore, Dan Rather, and France. But through it all, I've really been a secret, closeted liberal, just waiting for the right moment to reveal myself. How ever did you see through my brilliant disguise?

"Washington state Republicans should start taking lessons from what is happening in Kiev, Ukraine."

They have (or will). John Carlson (KVI) announced on his show tonight that they are organzing a 'Democracy Protest" on the stairs of the state capitol, next Tues 4 pm. And, he said, to wear orange, just like they did in the Ukraine.

"This morning the King County Elections Department announced to ballot counters that it is changing the rules it had previously set on counting votes. King County’s established guidelines had said that if there were marks in the bubbles for both Rossi and Gregoire, the vote would be considered an “over vote” and would not be counted because the voter had voted for both candidates. Now, however, the Elections Department is going to send these ballots to the Democrat-dominated canvassing board for review."

Gotta love it, those DUmmies are giving Rossi a free certiorari ticket to the USSC. You can hear the DUmmies wailing now a la Charlie Brown: "Auggh! Everything I touch turns into Bush v. Gore!"

Skip RCW 29A.68.020 and proceed to Go. Or should I say Roe, as in Scalia will finally get the chance he has wanted to affirm Roe v. Alabama.

Seriously?

Guess the Dems invoked the first name trumps the family name rule.

" ... King County Councilman Larry Phillips, whose ballot was among the 573 mistakenly rejected by election workers"

That stinks to high-heaven!! There's a fly in the ointment here somewhere.

Yeah, well, I'm a smart guy, I can figure out the idiotic point you're trying to make.

Furthermore, in the first place it's quod erat demonstrandum. And in the second place, it's Latin for "which was to be demonstrated" and is used at the end of proofs where you initially state that which is to be demonstrated. For example:

I will now prove that StAnDeliver is an idiot.

You never stated something to be demonstrated, therefore it would have been a non sequitur to use quod erat demonstrandum, even if you'd spelled it correctly. I'd say that perhaps it is you who is the troll, except I think you might be too dumb even to be a DUer.

We found out later this afternoon (from Kathy Lambert, the one who originally reported it, and called KVI to correct the information) that the oval in the governor's race was also filled in for Gregoire.

It was an overvote and probably shouldn't have been counted, but yes, it did say, "Christine Rossi".

I don't get it...where does DU get off banning all these people? Are they running a forum or a group therapy session?

As you've noticed, we freepers welcome so-called heretics...we like to argue with and laugh at them.

Yes, and in this case the last day to certify is December 23.

No

"From reading state law and state Supreme Court decisions, "it is clear to me that it is not appropriate to go back and revisit decisions on whether ballots should or should not be counted," Arend said."

but if gregoire is behind in the final count, they'll count them.

..Stalin once said something like, "the number of votes don't matter, its' who counts the votes that matters"
