An earlier story did say a judge would rule on the injunction request this afternoon.
YAHOO!!!!!

I'm still holding out hope that King's pseudo-manual recount conducted during the machine recount already counted most of the ballots and there won't be many additional ones picked up. That's a good point. When all the other counties were supposed to be doing just a machine recount, King County decided to do a machine + recount. They pulled out all ballots that couldn't be read by machine and "determined" the intent at that point.
That would seem to say that most of the extra votes discovered in other counties during this hand job...er, hand recount, were already found by King County the first time.
If King County had the same wild swings we've seen elsewhere, it would be pretty surprising, I would think.

From reading state law and state Supreme Court decisions, "it is clear to me that it is not appropriate to go back and revisit decisions on whether ballots should or should not be counted, Well what the law says and what is clear, don't matter at this stage. It's all political muscle now. Sad.

Well that's good news. So one would assume they won't allow these newly "found" ballots to be counted?

Correct, if they wish to be consistent. However, "Consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds." So we'll have to wait for the inevitable appeal.

As far as I know, they're speaking out. One wrote to John Carlson and he read their account on the air. Another reporting this sort of thing is a fellow Freeper. Hopefully, they're also telling their stories to the GOP lawyers.

I actually thought the Florida court was going to rule in favor of Bush four years ago. Assumption is the mother of all.....
To: oceanview
I agree that's their play. Won't use the 721 (?) unless absolutely necessary to win. Looks cleaner that way. If Christine wins recount with existing ballots in hand, the appeal will get dropped as moot.

Time for Dem plan "B".. inject ballots into the count without "finding/discovering" them.
What do you want to bet King county ballots are multiplying like rabbits right now. "Hey, look at how badly the machines messed up! They must have been "stuck together" last time around." .. They already laid the ground work in the MSM.

Wait, you're not going to throw in a snarky remark about how I'm just pretending to hope for a Rossi victory, and how I'm secretly a deep-cover Democratic plant who carefully constructed a persona as a conservative through several months of blog postings only to out myself over this issue?

The Dems are in a tough balancing act right now. If they don't "find" enough ballots they'll lose but if they "find" too many it'll look like the Ukraine all over again.

Recently a post here of a CA. democrat lawyer and long time democrat election "lawyer" in CA. says the rule is: You keep recounting until you win!!!!!!!!
Yes, it is very strange that votes always suddenly appear as from thin air favoring the democrats. Just keep recounting and you will win!!!!
True the general public are stupid as far as keeping up with simple logic. but will they remain stupid forever??
Personally I do not party vote but vote for the person who in that particular race tells me what I want to know when I want to know it and I know it is at least 60% true.

It doesn't matter to the puppet masters (Unions/MOB). They could care less about
Crisy's public image (or the real Dem party). They want their "stable funding source", our wallets, at any cost.

True. They'd rather steal the election and take the bad PR rather than lose.
