...expressed his admiration for Adolf Hitler on various online forums. Was he one of the "Best and Brightest" on the "D.U.mmies" site?

"The shootings began in the early afternoon when Weise killed his grandfather, Daryl "Dash" Lussier, 58, and his girlfriend at their home in Red Lake and then took his grandfather's police weapons, including two handguns and a shotgun. Lussier was a longtime veteran of the Red Lake police force."
And how would gun control have prevented this? The only hope for preventing something like this is to allow the teachers to be armed.

I doubt poor kids on the res can afford prescription drugs, even in the rare instance where they actually need them.
Sounds like the Minnesota Miracle of more gambling solving all tribal woes wasn't exactly working for this tribe.

You just know the anti-gunners will be out in full strength.
Horrible situation, but just reminded me of a scene from "The Jerk":
Steve Martin is working for Jackie Mason at the gas station when the sniper opens fire and the oil cans on the shelf start exploding.
Martin says "these cans are defective", but Mason says "it's not the cans that are defective, it's a defective person".
Yeah, it's a person problem not a problem with the tools that the person is using.

Interesting, as the Columbine School in Colorado was on
Hitler's birthday.

The kid had little to lose. He knew that, because of his age, he had immunity; the recent Supreme Court foolishness gave him that. How many high school kids all across the country have realized that they can be heros in the eyes of the left wing media and other whacko kids and no longer have to worry about punishment.
The media won't touch this subject because it would suggest that the death penalty (which in PC = "final reward") does has a deterrent effect. About the only reason the media may not hit this story hard (and, thus, guarantee it's repetition) is because the northern town in which it occured is inhospitable.
We will also be faced with the mleft-wing media problem of, on one hand, attacking guns and, on the other, protecting the privacy of a child. But, never fear, there has to be about four dimensions on which the presstitutes can attack Bush on this. I can't wait to hear what Traitor John has to say!

Do you honestly believe that Indians on a reservation pay a penny for medical care and prescription drugs?
My understanding is that you and I pay for them.

From your link:
Title: Re: Native American Nationalists?
Post by Todesengel [Jeff Weise, the shooter] on Apr 19th, 2004, 11:41pm Hmn, after a recent discussion with some misinformed people I had to ask you guys, why are people so close minded?
By the way, I'm being blamed for a threat on the school I attend because someone said they were going to shoot up the school on 4/20, Hitlers birthday, and just because I claim being a National Socialist, guess whom they've pinned?
