Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc....need to be told to “grow a little backbone, because the history of the world is gruesome, riddled with war, and not something to expect to study if the top criteria is to avoid being “offended”.

My guess is that teaching about the Holocaust might lead people to have sympathy for those who died, and to come to the conclusion that the systematic slaughter of the Jews and others was somehow wrong, and that might just conflict with the teachings of the so-called Prophet.

I guess it goes without saying that there won't be any mention of the Turkish slaughter of the Armenians, either.

I wondered about that also. Are they saying Muslims identify so much with the Jews that they cannot bear to hear about this? In this country also some incredible concessions have been made to Muslims. There maybe hysteria over what Imus said, but let a Muslim kill a Jew in this country and the silence is deafening.
