A perfect metaphor.
[I subscribe to a lot of fluff magazines: Redbook, Working Mother, Oprah, Time, Newsweek, Coastal Living, InStyle (yes I do read a lot of junk)]
Why?
I don’t know; I just like magazines.
(I read good stuff too.)
Trashy magazines are like TV to me; I don’t have TV. Keeps me “with it,” in tune with the culture, I guess.
I just can’t stomach those kinds of magazines. Guess, I don’t want to be in tune with the culture. ;-) I guess you can find some interesting articles in them. I just don’t like supporting them.
