WTH does that mean? It means that McCain threw the election.

Romney was at 29% on Intrade the day before the first Romney / Obama debate. Take from that what you will.

I don't think it is possible for Romney to "close Obama out" in tomorrow's debate because of the debate format. Planted questioners with sob stories - even if Romney answers them perfectly - can always tell the media they felt "marginalized" and that Obama is the more "caring" candidate. The MSM won't be forced to accept that Obama lost this time, no matter how badly he does.
A tie in the post-debate polls would be a good result for Romney. Otherwise, we'll spend the next week hearing about "Obama's Huge Comeback."

I wonder if ponytail guy will be there, calling Obama his daddy.
To: Mr. Jeeves
Yeah, sadly, between the lib moderator and 47 per centers in the audience the fix is most assuredly in.

And why won’t it be a strong debate performance...Obama’s problem is his last 4 years and what his plans are for the next 4 years (more of the same).
It’s like trying to sell a crap sandwich, only die hard libturds are gonna buy it.

This is what happened in ‘80, a sudden switch. In the ‘80 debates, Reagan showed that he wasn’t the boogey man the Dems had painted him out to be; Romney has done the same in ‘12. The American public in both cases was more than anxious to kick out the incompetent incumbent and found cause to vote FOR his opponent.

The true foreign debate will be on Monday, the 22nd in standard format.
While this Town Hall is supposed to cover all topics, the Moderator has, so I read, exclusive control of who in the audience to choose (meaning, what questions get asked) and in what order. The fact she is publicly saying she won't be a “fly on the wall”, expect an aggressive approach from her.
One way this works well is if she keeps them to their time limits. This would be a huge advantage to Romney. The One cannot discuss anything concisely.
To: jpsb
PS what happened to "i" before "e" except after "c"? I do not see a "c" in foreign.Yeah, that's weird.

Spinning lie after lie without a crib sheet (or teleprompter) requires more time.

Good ol Washington Post/ABC poll coming along to save the day for the lib media. This poll will be the one touted now for the next day or two. Rush just mentioned this poll.
Romney up by 3, with democrats OVER sampled by 9!

That’s not really what it means, but that’s beside the point. The point is, that comment, which was NOT your comment, is based on a ridiculous faulty premise - that being that “The GOP” has any control now.
As Eisenhower said after the D Day order had been given: he was now the least impactful person in the operation.

No, they will feature the Romneys’ garbage collector, tearfully reproaching the `out-of-touch rich guy’ for having never given him a hug.
