Gee, I wonder how many “heirs” have purposely failed to notify SSA that the beneficiary has died while the checks continue to be directly deposited into a jointly held bank account?
I was surprised how easy it was to cancel my beloved Mother’s checks just by calling and reporting to SSA. I said “that’s it?” and the other replied “that’s it”
I am unaware of there is other reporting, say by the funeral homes, local authorities, but if not then that might explain why so many accounts remain active at 112

Obama knew, he understood, he supported the bleeding of the productive class. I wonder if there was some special CAIR-supported method for finding these eternal numbers and collecting from them? Or am I being unjustifiably paranoid--it was just Obama's Cloward-Piven, nothing planned?

This is why the trust fund is in the hole. These funds are being used up by most likely illegals who not only are here as felons, they are also commiting felonies by defrauding Social Security. IMO, cutting off all funding for those cities that harbor them should go to replacing that money and that those cities should be also fined for harboring felons.

All this article is saying is that they’ve just never been officially purged from their records. It’s possible, albeit highly unlikely, that only the 13 cases of fraudulent benefits collection are going on. The only real story is that we know that at least 13 people are receiving payments they should not be receiving. Everything else is speculation. And even that might be. I suppose it’s possible that one or more of those people are actually alive (but highly doubtful.
Why have they not updated the numbering system? The same number should never have to be re-used. It would take a Y2K like effort to get all the systems changed, but it makes sense going forward.

Same here, which is why I think that Obama was indeed born somewhere other than HI, which was Trump's original view (but he has since said otherwise). He has mostly been shown to be right when it looks like he has been spouting off.

Are benefits in different categories? It is had to believe that disability and/ or survivor benefits are non existent within a group of 6.5 million Social Security numbers.
I question the number receiving benefits.
