The administration should end this symbolic strike by offering them a symbolic raise. A larger font on the stipend checks ought to suffice.

A few years ago the democrats in congress made a big deal about a 24/7 hunger strike they were on because of something they were objecting to. A few days later it was revealed that the hunger strike was for 8 hours after which time some others would not eat for another 8 hours.
Nuff said!
