While I think it is a lost cause at this point, I do think there were shenanigans pulled down there.
Getting out that level of Democrat support in an off year election seems a very long stretch to me.
“Whatever Pence is...” As men go, he’s a pretty good man; sincere, god-fearing, loves his Country, etc. And I think he’s learning from Trump. But I don’t think he has he chops to stand up to the Schumers and Pelosis in the political world. I believe he’d slowly knuckle under.
That’s my take on him, and in addition, I am not sure he doesn’t have a bit of sympathy for the globalist outlook. I don’t know who in 8 years we would prefer, but we better not give it all back like we did in 88.

While you warm up, I believe you, many others, and the nation as a whole will benefit considerably.
Why were they able to do that?
Because in a vacuum, there was no other narrative on the public stage.
The Republicans no only didn’t defend Moore, pointing out inconsistencies in the women’s stories, but also made public statements about how he should step down. Shelby made robocalls the day before the election telling Republicans not to vote, or to vote against Moore.
If we’re handing away the majority like this, we don’t deserve it.
This is why I voted for Trump. He could have done more for Moore also. I understand the predicament he was in, but Moore/we deserved better.
The RNC keeps sending me requests disguised as a donation to Trump. Unfortunately for them, they have to explain in the post where the funds are headed, and it’s to the RNC. I ignore them, and will be writing them a note soon.
I don’t know what to make of the elections. I can’t imagine folks wanting to hand the House and Senate to the party that will block most of what Trump wants to do, but then the Republicans didn’t take advantage of the situation to address so many issues, it makes you wonder what the point of being the majority is all about to them anyway.
About all the RNC and the GOPe are good for is killing off Conservative momentum.

WRT Trump - you know, we’ve tried civility, working with the other side, etc. They those guys (Bush 43, McCain and Romney) were vilified and, in the last 2 cases, lost. Had we gone the same route and chosen a Kasich or a Jeb, we’d have lost again and Hillary would have completed the takeover of the government for the Left that her husband started, Bush 43 didn’t reverse enough of, and Obama worked hard to implement. You should, IMHO, be thankful for Trump, warts and all. Frankly, the warts - mainly his aggressive and competitive nature - are exactly what won him the election.
He is like Ulysses Grant - who was roundly criticized for drinking, etc. - in the sense that he FIGHTS. That is exactly what Lincoln said of Grant - that this was his most important characteristic, that none of the rest mattered. That’s because no one else on the Union side who was capable of leading armies actually wanted to fight the Confederacy. Trump fights - for US, because he has everything that anyone could ever want. I’ll take him, thank you very much, and enjoy the heck out of the utter apoplexy that the other side suffers from every time Trump says or tweets something.
Besides fighting, he’s actually accomplishing a LOT, and that over intense opposition from even within his own party. Wait until he’s unchained at some point, with ineffective Dem opposition and solid Rep. support - what he’ll do then will make everyone’s head spin. I’ll take the NYC aggressiveness with all of that, because we need to chalk up a few in the “Win” column for a change.
