Suicide is what happens when you constantly focus on SELF and look at the reality of what your life really is.

Christians (whole other debate on whether they are saved to begin with or not) who commit suicide, do so, because they focus on themselves & not Jesus Christ the perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

My mom was 99 when she started to succumb to her final illness. She said, “I’ve still got things to do, I’ve got a bucket list!”. She most definitely wanted to get better, but she didn’t demand that everything be done to save her. It was about 7 1/2 weeks from the day she couldn’t get out of bed on her own and when she died. Mercifully short. She had been driving herself around town a couple of weeks before.

Ya know, I say and think that it has had no effect on me at all.

But who knows?

I do kind of live in an Italian bubble on Staten Island where we have not kept pace with the liberalism of the world so that has sheltered me from it some.

Traditional roles are still pretty normal out here.

But across the water...!!!!!! That’s a different story altogether.!!
