“The murderer is in that classroom.”
“I am sorry ma”am we cannot arrest him here.”
“No, really. He’s right there. See him stabbing that other child?”
“Yes ma’am. But we’ve already arrested two killers in this school this month. We can not arrest anyone again until the first of the month. We will have to wait outside.”
“Oh...there goes the teacher.....”

One needs to look no further than a local McDonalds to find evidence of what group of people have no control over their emotions and are prone to violence. Apparently this is a huge surprise to the NYC Commissars.

I went to a HS with 78% AA in my graduating class. There were few arrests because the school would not involve the police. But the black thugs drank from whiskey bottles in the restrooms, beat the f out of each other, stole stuff from every white kids locker, slept in class and never, never did any of the school work. I am amazed any of them can read or write.

I graduated with no education beyond what I got on my own which was not much.

The lunatics are now running the asylum.

And our children lose. One prays our newest generation is seeing through this lunacy.

So based on skin color, some people really are more equal than others ? This whole race thing is winding up like a balsa wood airplane propeller and will some day be let loose. A lot of fingers are going to get sliced that day. and it will be the ones doing all this race baiting.

"For decades, city statistics have shown that the New York City school system has disciplined black and Hispanic students at higher rates than white and Asian children — an unsettling yet consistent feature of the nation’s largest school district."

I'm just sure it's gotta be racism that blacks are arrested more than Asians. Can't possibly be anything else.

I always thought Dirty Harry and Death Wish were responses to the rising crime of the period.

They were not politically correct movies.

Sure; all di Blasio needs to do is use Obama and Runcey’s
P R O M I S E program which requires that no school crimes can be reported. That is how the vicious lunatic Cruz was able to kill 17 people in the South Florida high school.

I may be an army of one in my outlook/quest but schools as presently constituted and assembled are an anachronism.

Much of modern life is a holdover from agrarian times. Agrarian America was supported by a three-legged stool of family, church and school. As you well know, the fascist left has targeted the family for destruction and only the instincts of man are preventing its disappearance under the constant assault of depravity, promiscuity, illegitimacy, dependency, drugs, etc.

It goes without saying that the church has been targeted. Yesterday's cross ruling was a flyspeck in the ocean. Unfortunately, much of the church's destruction is of its own making thanks to liberal senior clergy members including, now, the Marxist Pope.

This leaves the schools which were once a place of actual learning ie the transmission of knowledge. Obviously that's out the window. It was also a place of socialization (the good, supervised kind) and matriculation. High school graduates were once viewed as fully-formed adults and generally behaved like it. Now they are like pre-teens: spoiled, immature and unprepared.

Schools escaped the fascist assault because fascists realized that schools could be subsumed and radicalized while retaining the veneer of respectability, even affection. But fascists co-opted the curriculum and, through the union sham, the teachers. People are obviously sentimental about their children and they still think schools act in loco parentis. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

The point of all this is that mandatory attendance at public schools is itself an anachronism. If the schools' mission is to educate and high-achieving students are their show ponies at tax levy time, why are high-achieving students (almost always the most well-behaved) corralled into large, mostly unsupervised spaces with addicts, perverts, sociopaths, thugs, drug dealers, and idiots? How does this make a lick of sense? The bad ones get worse and the good ones get threatened, corrupted and generally dragged down.

We are far too lenient and forgiving with regard to kids who simply shouldn't be in a classroom.

Geographical catchment areas are also an anachronism. They are a ruse to jack up property taxes in desirable residential areas of town. Why aren't schools segregated - yes, SEGREGATED - by ability, interest, career path, etc? Why is a math whiz wasting a semester in a class they could probably test out of because the math whiz is stuck in a classroom with wasters who are 'socially promoted' even when they fail? It's madness and it starts at too early an age.

When your campus turns into a war-zone, and enrollment hits the dumper.... let the Alumni deal with it.

I have always thought that killing the death penalty was more about ensuring he upper classes were immunized over future crimes than about alleviating the crimes of the lower classes. So rich kids can use the same defense when they are charged, you know the one, “had I not been where the cops were I would have never been caught” defense.

Attention Secretary DeVos: Why aren’t you shouting about this from the rooftop of your office? Its an issue that will resonate with a broad swath of voters. If you can’t get press about this, you need to fire somebody.
