“I know a woman who brushes her teeth with Ajax. Used to be homeless and couldnt afford toothpaste, she said. I think insanity is the real reason.”
Your post reminded (not the insanity part) me of the platoon sergeant for my platoon (1st Plt, A Co, 93rd Engr Bn, 20th Engr Bde) in RVN was Sergeant Julius B. McNair. A finer man I have not known. He was reared hardscrabble in NC. He said he and his family brushed their teeth with salt when he was growing up. He had a beautiful smile that lit up the world.
One of the great regrets I’ve had in my life was not tracking him down and telling him what a wonderful man he was and how proud I was to know him.
wow!! now that’s a survivors friend
“Is she now recommending everyone bathe in Clorox???”
Can you blame her? She has to sleep next to Fredo every night.
Really..
We had a water system on our well water in our home and we added CLOROX TO THE WATER..and we drank that water..it went through a water filtering system...
we lived and today we are 77 and 82...
The price of Clorox has gotten stupid, and the container sizes are always getting smaller and smaller...
We use Clorox tablets in our toilet tanks to keep our toilets white, clean and fresh...
we use Clorox to do our laundry ...
and as for adding a small amount to bath water should not be harm full..jmo...
“I live in Alabama, and I remember my Dad bathing in Clorox to kill chiggers (red bugs).”
I’ve heard that Clorox is good in dealing with them.
