Politico is so wrong, that I hope all of them get Montezuma’s revenge tonight.

Amen.

“This previously discredited theory, which was first articulated by three justices in one of the cases concerning the 2000 presidential election recount in Florida...”

There is no valid discrediting of the Constitution.

it’s MUCH WORSE than Violence!!

It’s Criminal AND Violent.

So I took the C from Criminal and the rest of violence after the V :)

I could have gone with Viminal

So flagrant vote fraud is “expanding voting access”.

Voting access for the dead is important.

I see that Nevada, which has a Democratic state legislature, passed legislation enabling the Governor, during an emergency, to mail out mail ballots.

But, in Penn., Mich., Wisc. and Ga., which have Republican state legislatures, I don’t think so.

but actually could restrict voters’ rights for years to come

To legal voters, to living voters, to the actual voters themselves? All good things.

Exactly. This is tacit admission that “it ain’t over.” For damn sure it is not. Great time to be alive. 2020 will prove to be one of the best years in all of history.

The complicity of mainstream media in this fraud is grounds for criminal prosecution resulting in seizure of their assets, arrests, convictions, and expulsion from the United States, if not revocation of voting privileges and any chance of holding public office.

” federal courts across the country had generally responded to the pandemic by expanding voting access” Show me the part of the constitution that says courts have any say in changing election processes.

A huge problem has always been that the left is at war — meaning no rules, laws, etc. while the right keeps trying to follow the rules.

The left cheats when it can, then changes the rules. Rather than fix the rules when it whens, the right adopts the left’s new rules.

We are at the tipping point where the right simply won’t matter anymore. Besides the merits of the vote fraud cases, the supreme court should recognize the dire threat to the institution of the supreme court itself, namely the inevitable court packing.

It should also recognize the threat to elections. Slapping this fraud down hard is far more important than legalistic wrangling.

Finally, there is the general threat of leftists. Nowhere have they actually shared power — their goal is not the institutions of a free government, it is the one party state.

a brand new legal theory—that the Constitution gives state legislatures virtually untrammeled authority to set voting rules for federal elections

State legislatures are tasked with writing laws? What a radical new concept.

to evaluate burdens to voting rights under the Constitution.

What voting rights would these be? Only Electors are given the right to vote for President under the Constitution. State legislatures have granted the right for voters to vote for the Electors.

Four amendments restrict the states from limiting the right to vote based on race (15th Amendment) sex (19th Amendment, age above 18 years (26th amendment) and not paying a poll tax (24th amendment).

As destructive as the president’s attempts to undermine democracy are...

2016: "The Russians hacked the election! They literally changed the vote totals! There's video of Russian hookers peeing on Drumpf! We must have an investigation! Orange Man bad! It's Mueller time!"

2018: "Stacy Abrams is the true governor of Georgia!"

2020: "The president is undermining the integrity of our democracy."
