Locke was part of the early stages of natural law philosophy that became more prominent as others joined. He clearly studied human nature before putting forth his ideas.

I like Trump, but he really needs to get away from the stolen, rigged election stump. It may have been true, but it is time he focuses on the way forward.

You need to leave FR and never come back.

Geezus....

Go hide under your bed, masked up, and leave the heavy lifting to stronger people.

I don’t give a rip about any of your supposed arguments... President Trump has better political instincts than you, me and just about everyone else here. I say let Trump be Trump and get out of the way

***************************
Unfortunately the Trump presidency is a three legged stool consisting of Trump, Ivanka, and Jared Kushner. So Trump alone with great instincts isn’t enough to hold up the stool. Look at every important Personnel decision he made and you will see the diluting influence of Ivanka and Jared. And it continues to this day with his absurd endorsement of swamp rat Morgan Ortagus. Look up all the details of that woman and you’ll throw up wondering how Trump could endorse her. Yet he did. And on top of that he lied about Ortagus’s MAGA opponent and said that he voted for Obama. Trump’s lie about something like that is right out of a liberal Playbook. Stuff like that would not come from Trump he was convinced to do it by somebody like Ivanka and Jared. If you have another theory as to why Trump would lie about a MAGA conservative voting for Obama, to benefit an entrenched swamp rat like Morgan Ortagus, then please let me know.

They should be consistent and use "Moskva" for "Moscow".

From the interwebs:

“What does Moscow mean? This name is much older than the city itself. The actual name of the city in Russian is “Moskva”. When the city was founded in 1147 it was called ‘Moskov” which sounded closer to the present-day English pronunciation.”

It is located on the Moskva River (which sounds like that is what the city took its name after?).

I voted for the man twice. Keep it up, and I may just vote for HRC in 2024 just to spite you.

Whoa. That is the most immature statement I’ve seen on Free Republic, and I’ve been here since 2004. Yes. you need to go away. You seem to be a RINO.

GA has changed its law; TX strengthened its law; PA passed one that was vetoed. The battles need to continue at the state level, and Trump needs to focus higher.

Do those things happen without Trump harping on the 2020 election? I think not.

Keep it up, and I may just vote for HRC in 2024 just to spite you. Given how close these elections are, he might lose next time.

So, we had all better be very careful or you just might vote for Hillary the next time around??? Spoken like the true "conservative" that you are. LOL!!! You should stick to defending Britney.

Unfortunately the Trump presidency is a three legged stool consisting of Trump, Ivanka, and Jared Kushner.

Like so much of what you write in your constant and unrelenting anti-Trump diatribe, that is half baked nonsense. It has been very clear from your posts for many months now that you do not support President Trump and smear him constantly.

And yes, President Trump made mistakes, and he picked some bad underlings, and he is not perfect. But like it or not at this point, for a number of reasons he is still the best chance for a return to normalcy that this country has.

You and I agree on much more than we disagree, but I and many others find that your constant sniping at President Trump on this forum over the past months has gone over the top and is more than a little distasteful. Week after week, month after month... constant anti-Trump rhetoric... Anyone who wants to get a snoot full of anti-trump rhetoric should just click on your name in one of your posts and spend a little time looking back through your posting history.

But if one looks back for enough, they will find the strangest thing; when he was President and making all of these terrible personnel picks etc... you were supportive. From a little less than a year and a half ago:

The Left Won’t Tell Women That Abortion Can Cost Them Their Future Family 10/1/2020, 9:29:16 AM · 4 of 11 bramps to Kaslin Trump is a problem solver and is fearless. I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes on abortion head-on in his second term, exposing all of the very ugly facts about it including what this article points out.

I am actually just curious. Did President Trump's motorcade run over your little dog and not stop to say that he was sorry? Or do you just turn on people when things become challenging? What was the life changing event that caused you to go from fawning supporter to frothing, hating ex-wife?

I appreciate your lengthy and thoughtful reply. And I understand where you coming from. I am a passionate man and my moods certainly are capable of swaying greatly.

It’s interesting that the post you got from me dated back to October 1st of last year. The biggest thing that Trump did that started me losing great respect for him happened approximately one month later and if you’re any kind of a God-fearing man as I am I suspect it certainly didn’t help in the election which he lost. Or I should say was stolen from him. What happened one month later? Melania Trump came out and announced that Donald Trump was the first president that entered office supporting homosexual marriage. Up to that point Trump had done a good job walking the line as far as homosexual marriage. He had showed up at Evangelical churches and made himself seem perhaps like he may have even embraced Christ as his Savior. And then he sends out Melania to say that he endorsed gay marriage? That’s about as anti-Christian as you get. I’m presuming he did it to win votes and really tossed his character right out the window as far as me trusting that he actually has any core conservative beliefs. But I recognize that he may be the candidate again and I would vote for him but I’ve lost a lot of trust and respect for him. And again his latest of endorsement of Morgan Ortagus (right out of the swamp)in Tennessee and then him lying about Robby Starbuck saying that Starbuck voted for Obama really really bother me and make me question what is the driving force behind a lot of Trumps decisions.

The Bible says that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of God. And I ultimately suppose what I think about Trump as his biggest weakness is that he doesn’t truly believe in God. And he may even think that it’s okay if he defies God. But you can’t. And this country is going to continue to suffer as long as we have such leaders.

...and fwiw, I am a very flawed Christian man. But I never try to tell God that he’s wrong.

The root of Donald Trump’s problem and that he lacks humility.

For the record, I don’t think stamping out other people’s opinions is a good idea. If you want to make a lot of mistakes and live a very boring life, just live in a bubble. I criticize the President here because an echo chamber is dangerous. Out in the world, I have gotten into arguments with people for denigrating and smearing him. It’s a good idea to at least try to attempt to be objective.

Mine was not actually a thoughtful reply and I apologize for that because we have so few actual disagreements and share so many of the same frustrations. Thank you for answering my snarkiness with kindness. Yours was the thoughtful post and explained precisely where you are coming from, and I do appreciate your point of view.

I agree, but I think that at least part of the perception that President Trump lacks humility has to do with his New York mannerisms.

My wife is a retired nurse. She had a friend who was also a nurse but actually went to work for one of Donald Trump's companies. Her friend tried to recruit my wife as well and described Mr. Trump as the best employer that she ever worked for. He was someone who actually seemed to care deeply for his employees and did show humility to them.

This actually is a good place to air your frustrations. You might get some pernicious sounding feedback but for the most part it is all in good fun.
