Oooooh, words on a website!
Here are some more words on a website from a candidate who says he will:
“Rebuild institutions like family and community. No government can substitute for the dignity of work, the security of health care, and the spiritual support of our family.”
“Whether it is modernizing health care so it’s more affordable and accessible, fighting for more school choice for all Americans, protecting us by securing our borders and stopping illegal immigration, telling the truth about corporate America like how pharmaceutical companies charge too much for prescription drugs, or making sure people know the truth about COVID...”
The above are from the website of next week’s loser in the Pennsylvania Senate primary, that staunch conservative who calls himself Dr. Oz.
In case you haven’t noticed, any candidate is going to say (or publish on his website) whatever he thinks voters in the Republican primary want to hear.
I’m sure Pillen will do just fine as Nebraska’s next Governor, better than Lindstrom or an actual Democrat — and after all, how can we dare argue against anyone Larry Hogan supports?
Get used to this. I think Oz is going to lose biggly.
That helps. All I am confident to say about Osborne is he took a school that had no right to be a national football power and made it one, which demonstrates that he knows something and has the potential to know something more.
I still wish that Mike Ditka had run for Senate in Illinois.
Exactly what “is starting” ?
Meaning the media will hound trump for one loss
“This is a problem for President Trump: too many races out there are “an abundance of riches”, with more than one good conservative candidate in them“
Did you mean to say it’s not a problem for President Trump? Because it’s not.
The same thing is true here in PA.
If Kathy Barnette beats Trump-endorsed Oz, President Trump wins, because she is the better MAGA candidate anyway.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he claims her as win.
Ditto about Ditka, but I think he was told exactly what would happen to him and his family if he had insisted on running against Bonzo the Wonder Chimp.
As far as Tom Osborne being the official Savior of Nebraska Football, you might want to look up a guy named Bob Devaney. :-)
I really think Trump dodged a bullet on this one.
Why did he get only 33%? You might be right I don’t enough, but that is a seriously poor showing for someone so great.
Neither candidate received over 50%. When the runoff?
Media “will hound” President Trump for a massive, overwhelming 58-1 win rate?
That will work how?
Maybe that third person on the ballot help make the difference.
Still, 1 out of 59 ain’t bad.
I guess that’s why it deserved a Headline.
Trump suffered a blow? No one in the history of politics has had these results. Trump is the undisputed King Maker on all time. Any article that does not address that fact, is fake news.
Thanks. Building on someone else’s success isn’t quite the same thing as groundbreaking, though doing so to such a degree is still impressive.
Have a link to that?
