Popularity didn’t mean they ever got a lawful vote to make those programs and regulations constitutional.

FDR lied the very moment he took his oath of office. He was scum.

Yes, but it’s for diversity training.

United States against Russia

No doubt, that most of us by now are aware of that conflict in Ukraine which was promoted and orchestrated long time before it came to a head, even way before 2014; and more or less was brought into being to create a conflict between Russia and the US. These forces were itching to reign in Russia and to eliminate its influence in order to control and subdue a good portion of the western world. To mind come the likes of Klaus Schwab as well as George Soros who thrives on turmoil as well as mayhem. Some of these external forces are even beyond our ignorant and corrupt government who wouldn’t be smart enough to pull something like this off.

They are the same forces going gung ho about global warming, culling the population as well as going green come hell and high water, with Russia standing in between to finish their job, so Russia will have to go, just like our former president Trump. When it comes to the US as well as Russia you have literally speaking, two freight trains approaching each other, and no doubt you can imagine what will happen should they connect.

Another thing to consider is losing face, again something Putin is aware of; the catch is, will he or can he tolerate it? It will be interesting to see who will concede or cave in, or will it escalate into a conflict of monumental proportions? All I can say is, we certainly live in interesting times and once again ignorance and stupidity rules the day.

Not denying that!
However, he got some Supreme Court rulings the made things obviously unconstitutional Constitutional such ad Wickard v Filburn (1942). There are others!

Making the unconstitutional constitutional is not a power delegated to the Court.

Marbury v Madison is also quite clear that the obligation to fidelity to the Law over statutes is what makes review of lesser laws proper. Something that only arises because of an obligation to be faithful is not grounds for infidelity.

You may also note that having justified review on the basis of obligation before the Constitution, rather than statute, the Marshall also note that those in other departments take the same oath of office.

So if it is worse than a solemn mockery to require justices to take their oaths and then to make them close their eyes to the Constitution and only see statutes then what is it to require others to take their oaths and then to make them close their eyes to the Constitution and only see the opinions of the Court?

The FDR era Court is condemned too.

Agree!
The only justice I have ever heard expressing a desire to undo this is Clarence Thomas!

Why do we need to do this?

When you consider that the Ukraine is the most corrupt nation on the planet, this money should make sense.

They are going to announce a peace deal in Ukraine before the election. It is being designed to save the democrats. Putin is in on it. They were all in on it. Just watch. Then all the money can shift from weapons to construction and rebuilding contracts. Even more cash!!

However,I think God is going to have the final say here. D>C is so far gone in thier arrogance and corruption it’ time for a major correction from the Lord.

I believe it was Scalia who said that if originalism is correct then the whole theory of the modern Court is wrong.

I think he recognized, though he would probably be much less blunt and far more eloquent, that the modern Court pulls “law” out of its ass. That they apply no more weight to the Constitution than the mere appearance of words on paper where the words have no function or meaning beyond what they tolerate it to have for their own transitory purposes.

Ukraine cannot be the most corrupt nation on the earth while Washington DC still exists as it is.

Or we just recognize that Putin has turned evil (or more evil) and is invading his neighbors, annexing land, bombing civilians and civilian infrastructure, even bombing nuclear power plants.

He has a record of taking land from his neighbors and he needs to be stopped. Ukraine has natural resources valued #4 in the world. If you let Russia take Ukraine he becomes much stronger. He’ll have even more energy monopoly power over Europe. He’ll have additional steel mills and weapons factory to help build his war machine.

And he’ll have 40 million Ukrainians to conscript from to fuel the next attack.

There have already been rumors that he is conscripting people in Crimea and people evacuated from Mariupol to fight against fellow Ukrainians. Don’t know if it’s true. I’d turn and shoot my commanders in that situation.

I heard one guy in Russia took out the mobilization commander yesterday.

We signed the Budapest Memorandum with Ukraine so they gave up their nuclear weapons. Now the Russians invaded Ukraine. Of course we are giving Ukraine money and arms.
