Al Gore was an oil man. While he was in charge of energy policy for eight years, all he did was sell off our oil reserves at Elk Hills to his buddies at Occidental Petroleum at a rock bottom price.

Or one could use the left’s way of looking at things and say the people don’t do it - it’s the power plants, cars, air conditioners, heaters, etc that do the burning.
