Not a bit. If he is just going to be Democrat Lite, why bother having a GOP Speaker?

Bongino - who I don’t like sometimes - is totally right on this one.

Gaetz was doing some grandstanding and things got out of control. So now we’ll probably end up with a radical leftist Dem as Speaker.

This is what you get when your members vote in stupid rules and the caucus is more of a mob.

eff ‘em. My world hasn’t changed much in the last two weeks. I doubt it will change much in the next two. This is what happens when you don’t rely on the government for you health and wealth.

Why anyone is still a registered Republican is beyond me. The party has no respect for its constituents, and doesn’t deserve to be honored with anyone’s membership.

Need New Party—GOP/RINO Party needs to go the way of the Whigs. Need a real reform Party—A Patriots Party, a Trump Party. Symbol: A Lion, Motto: “Don’t Tread on Me.” Goal: America First! Color: Orange. Goal: One America! Money backed up by Gold. Paper ballots only, a National Holiday to Vote in Federal elections. Conative test for all Politicals over 72. CLOSE THE BORDERS for a Year! No one going north or south. New Branch of the Armed services: The Border Guards with a five mile zone to protect all borders. With Tanks, fighter planes, drones, etc... to keep borders safe. Death penality by hanging or electric chair to all traitors and drug dealers—and cop killers.

Bongino was spot on.

It took 15 rounds of voting for The Swamp to install McCarthy into the Speakers Chair, and only after "The Chair" itself had to be configured as a rocket powered ejection seat with a hair trigger.

It's literally been a house of cards all along.

Nobody should be surprised at the current outcome.

Primary the 25 in 24.

RE: All depends on how you look at it.

Two weeks with no votes on appropriations.

Someone once said They say two things stay the same, death and taxes. But death stays pretty much the same and taxes go up when Congress is in session.

If you don’t agree with Dan Bongino most of the time, then I guess you’re no Conservative. Exactly, what do you disagree with on his opinions?

I’m a believer in looking before leaping. The “Heroic 8” should have had a viable candidate for the next Speaker, with votes in the bag, before they ousted McCarthy.

They have demonstrated for all to see that “Republican” is NOT a synonym for “conservative” (who knew...?), that the R caucus is thoroughly fractured, nd that vandals can destroy but not build. Some (5?) voting against Jordan are just pissed over the coup d’etat methodology, or don’t like Jordan personally. Some (20?) don’t want a bold conservative agenda that will force them to go on the record. (Not conservative enough? Get primaried out. Too conservative? Fire up the opposition and lose in the General Election. Nothing like being put in lose-lose sitution to sour a mood.)

Bribeden need have no impeachment fears after this display of weakness, disunity, and incompetence. Thanks so much, “Hero 8”.

Only if some Republicans want to lose their seats by voting for a Democrat.

I worry that some in the GOP in the House are digging a hole they can’t get out of - a position they think they can’t back out of.

I’m certainly not. Got the hell out of that worthless cuck party nearly 3 years ago. The whole party is nothing but assistant Democrats and metaphorically speaking should be savagely burned to the ground in a raging white hot all consuming fire 🔥
