What they don’t get from taxing everything that moves (and is stationary) they borrow the large difference from our good friend, China. They are so out of control and have constantly hacked the Constitution to shreds that they are begging for a takeover of the government by a benevolent despot! If that happens, they will, by and large, be stood up against a wall and shot.
This is exactly what happened to Franco’s enemies.
That money could be better spent supporting Ukraine or Israel's defense needs.

The USS Olympia is a museum ship in Philadelphia. She is rotting away there in the Delaware river. She hasn’t seen a dry dock in 80 years. Rust stains drip down her white hull. Wood decks are gone replaced with some kind of spongy paving. They have considered towing her to sea and sinking her for a reef. This is a historic great white fleet era ship. She fired the opening shots in the Spanish American war in Manila bay. She brought home the unknown soldier from World War I.
She desperately needs $20 million of dry dock work. The US government won’t do it.
But we have 11 Billion to give to the Afghan enemy and 150 million last year to give to Gaza.
I surmise that it’s all about the kickbacks, the more the aid, the more kickbacks for the DC criminals
