There are still deals out there. I don’t reload 9mm. I got a good 1000 round deal for hollowpoint at Freedom Munitions. Try cost on .375 H&H Magnum. It’s around $8 per round at the stores. &mag is pretty expensive as well.
My main focus on reloading was for accuracy at first. Now it’s accuracy and cost per round.
DEAL OR NO DEAL——
KEEP BUYING ALL YOU CAN.
IT ISN’T EXACTLY PERISHABLE
Not to step on your post because it is good advice.....
But when democrats are in power if you see a good deal on anything you need or want you had better move fast to take advantage of it.
It seems that every time I search for something on-line the price has gone up by a significant percentage.
Prices jump from hour to hour and day to day and cumulative increases from 20% to 100% are common since the inauguration of Pedo-Joe Biden.
There is a reason why the feral government does not include food, energy and house prices in their CPI calculations.
Not including the things we actually spend much of our money on is their dishonest way of keeping the CPI lower than the actual inflation that impacts us.
The last thing they want is for the true inflation rate to be documented and publicized.

Runnings has had good prices lately. They even had a sale I happened to catch.
I reload .357 and 44 mag with a Dillon progressive press, but 9mm is way easier to buy bulk
Just today I got a deal from SGAmmo, $259 for 100o of Magtech or Winchester 115 gr, free shipping, get it while it lasts.
If I could offer any advice to beginner reloaders, stick with single stage presses. Why? Because it slows you down thus reducing the chances of making catastrophically stupid mistakes. And if you're doing it right, you're checking your charge weight every 10-20 cases or so.

I was scrounging around in my shop and found a can of federal .22 ammo I bought back in the 1980s. Two unopened cartons of 500 rounds each. Wonder if the ATF would consider that an “arsenal”.
My son and I went shooting last weekend. 150 rounds of .45 FMJ and 10 silhouette targets was $91. $27 a box for ammunition.
Look into Hornady RCBS, Dillon for metallic cartridge reloading. All these companies make fine progressive presses and dies. Hard to beat Mayville Engineering for shot shell reloading equipment.
First get a good book on the subject...there is much to learn.

Indeed, buy numerous reloading manuals. I always cross-reference load data among the different manuals. Always figured it was kind of important when I had 55,000 copper units of pressure about six inches from my face!
For the first time ever 5.7 x 28mm ammunition ($0.50 a round) is less expensive than 5.56 ammo ($0.55 a round).
“I may also pook at a Hornady single stage as I have a pretty good library of Hornady dies.”
I’ve used a Hornady die to reload .45 Auto cases from almost day one. They work just fine in an RCBS.
Best,

A few weeks ago Federal 5.56 was selling for $40/1000 the price is over $550/1000 today.
.22 ‘Stingers’ is our ammo of choice. We grab it whenever we see it at Farm & Fleet. And, yes. Prices have been all over the place, but mostly UP.
Let’s Go, Brandon!
“Wonder if the ATF would consider that an ‘arsenal’.”
Beau chose me over all others as I already had my own guns and an impressive ammo supply. ;)
