“All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives,”

That only applies to the process of the FEDERAL congress.

“BTW, you’re acting as if sending MORE money to a corrupt entity will make it better?”

You evaded answering my simple question and attacked me. Shame.

The real problem is that the same people who complain about paying too much in taxes never confront the incumbent candidates about taxes and keep voting for them.

That's because the Dims always say they'll raise taxes on just the rich. The Dim voters always believe that, vote for it, then the Dims always raise middle class taxes too.

* A military rated as “Weak”
* Hundreds of billions subsidizing EVs and other green scams
* Tens of billions subsidizing invaders from the south
* Twenty trillion on welfare and multi-generational chronic poverty
* An out-of-control government that hates its citizens and incarcerates them for no reason
* Utterly useless COVID lockdowns throwing the economy into a multi-year tailspin and destroying hundreds of thousands of businesses
* A militarized justice system that the incumbent uses to harass and prosecute his opponent

How can people say they don’t get value for their money?

Ummm, I did answer the question you actually slandered by only posting part of my reply.

Shall I answer you again? How much money is enough? Remember before 1913 we had NO federal in come tax and still funded our military. States paid per diem and not the other way around. So I answered your question twice and you didn’t answer my question-—how much money is enough? Are you for spending and taxing the US citizen even more?

So how does municipalities have the right to tax you? The state’s Constitutions are written in similar fashion.

If you list the items you get taxed on it would take at least two sheets of paper and the totals would be shocking.

From your reply, I take it that you are in favor of rais8ng state taxes to pay for the military.

“So how does municipalities have the right to tax you? The state’s Constitutions are written in similar fashion.”

If state’s constitutions are similar then it only applies to the state’s processes and does not govern County processes.

In a previous post you referred to county officials as non-elected bureaucrats. FYI they are elected.

You’re correct-—municipal elected beaurocrats— :)

BTW, you’re correct it’s not in the Constitution but many items/laws not specifically listed in the Constitution, are unconstitutional. IE-—Gun laws, Eminent domain, Welfare, etc.

The older ones, if able, physically and financially often go to Floriduh or Texas for the winter.

My very elderly parents had a good run going to Florida after retiring. They quit going after the gulf coast condo rates sky rocketed and all their Florida friends passed away a few years ago before covid hit. Their main social network of family, friends and doctors are still up north...

Starting shortly after Halloween, the snowbirds living close to I5 in Washington and Oregone, would start heading south in their RVs. They went south to S. California or to Arizona.

That I5 run south sometimes lasted until after Thanksgiving.

They headed back North before or shortly after Easter.

Like you: Their main social network of family, friends and doctors were still up north...

My parents went down to the Tampa area about this time of year for a month or so. The peak snowbird season starts after New Years and runs into March. There are lots of Canadians from the Toronto area that go down depending on the exchange rate.
