I had a nice canopy on my truck, carpeted flooring over the top of rubber carpet pad. It was set up for me and the Dog to go hunting. When the other half and I fought, I would take the dog and go to the boat launch. It was quiet and the dog could snuffle the breeze to his hearts content. I am thinking he was in the back, a pickup truck is uncomfortable to ride in, let along sleep in the cab.
You’ll get no arguments from me. As for what happened, that would be no-fault divorce.
I was thinking the same thing. I once helped clear a building (military training) and had to fire about 10 rounds. I literally could not hear a thing for about five minutes.
Many years ago, I read a article about police officers that fired their 357 Mag pistols from inside of their patrol cars versus officers that fired 38 special rounds from inside their patrols cars. Everyone of those that fired a 357 had permanent hearing damage, while none of those that fired 38 special rounds had hearing damage. The conclusion of the author was that it was the sonic crack from the 357 rounds that did almost all of the hearing damage.
I was thinking the same thing. When I was young, my grandfather told me to never date a girl crazier than me. That advise served me well.
I knew a guy that fired off a 12 gauge into the roof of his patrol car while doing weapons check. Instant convertible.

No-fault divorce was just one of the many weapons used in the attack on the family.
His was in a rack with a cast iron cap over the muzzle.
He did the state a Four-fer!
