This could have happened on the first moon landing, but Astronaut Neil Armstrong cooly took manual control and flew the lunar lander over a boulder field for a safe landing. Despite more than 50 years of advances in computer technology and now AI there is no substitute for human judgment.
Ah, so much time spent listening to Firesign Theater back in the day. Thanks for the memory.
