IIRC Brandon said the withdrawal was a great success. Now it was unavoidable chaos? I suppose it’s some progress they admit the obvious now but as usual for the left zero responsibility is assumed.

He closed Bagram Air Base a little over a month prior. Keeping that open was absolutely the realistic way of how he could have avoided a chaotic withdrawal.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the newest, latest and greatest American ‘kit’, abandoned in Afghanistan, was scooped up by the ChiComs and Russians, and has been/is being reversed engineered to figure out how it works, how it can be defeated, and how they (ChiComs and Russians) can build their own ‘kit’.
