Maybe a sidewalk washdown with high-pressure streams while they’re still lying on the ground.
Or you can move to Florida. We strongly encourage homeless people of all nationalities to migrate north to yankeeland where they belong.
“but I wouldn’t trade the freedoms we have for living there.”
Well, there is such a thing as too much freedom - as the shithole we’ve become proves.
I got a feeling you personally wouldn’t find whatever restrictions they have there too much of a problem. I bet you could easily live with them... and actually enjoy it.
I was there four days and what I saw was a highly developed society with happy well adjusted people going about their lives and no obvious repression. They’re basically common sense laws.
I definitely recommend a visit there. You could make it into a research project. ;)
For us it was a cruise that started there, so we got there 4 days earlier and then we went to Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong. And we spent 4 days in Hong Kong as well.
It was our first trip in that neck of the wood and it was enjoyable, informative, eye-opening... and gained a few pounds in the process.
We’re fed so much propaganda from both sides, it’s nice to see things with your own eyes.
“Singapore is also a homogenized country that has cultural racism built into its core.”
I have no idea what that means - I didn’t know culture was a race.
Also it’s not a homogeneous country ethnically - it has Chinese, Indians, Malay, Arabs, Indonesians, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, Hindus...
Thank you very much.
Your report from Singapore is a fascinating read. At the same time, it utterly depresses me what has happened to America - and to most other Western countries, mine heavily included.
It sometimes plunges me into utter despair…
Did they ever implement the initiative I read about a few years ago — where they were proposing to have segregated buses for immigrants?
Changi was already the best airport in the world, and then they added that new thing where they converted the water treatment plant into a giant, beautiful mall—it’s amazing!
“It sometimes plunges me into utter despair…”
I know exactly how you feel! It’s downright depressing.
and nobody has OD’d yet and sued the city???
I was there only four days so I’m no expert, but I saw no overt discrimination. I went to quite a few public places and you saw every type mingling together.
They do have ethnic neighborhoods - such as Chinatown, Little India, Arab street - they’re a lot like our ethnic neighborhoods and tourists flock to them.
Arab street was particularly fun, little alleyways full of shops and restaurants crowded with young people of all types having fun and posing for Instagram shots.
One that was particularly amusing was a group of four Muslim girls in hijabs striking sexy poses.
If you get a chance you should go, it’ll be an eye opener.

This is Canada, the dead would probably be awarded with a free funeral.
that’ll do...
There is a cognitive disconnect between Democrats and the consequences of their voting habits. Things just keep getting worse but they keep voting for every more liberal DemocRats.
Yes, and this feeling is compounded by having to stand at the sidelines, being unable to help while the entire disaster unfolds:-(
In America and elsewhere. The evil power elites seem to be almighty and invincible.
America is as much in my prayers as my own unfortunate country 🙏🏻
There isn’t too much freedom. There is too much freedom from responsibilities and consequences.
Wait!! You can buy cocaine from a vending machine?
Their mindset is even though it’s bad now it would be even worse if evil Republicans were in charge.
I worked there off and on for maybe 6 months total back in the 90’s.
I’d love to take the family there for a vacation. We stayed in the Hyatt on Scotts road. For vacation I’d want a suite at the Shangi-La on Sentosa Island.
The food was great, and there was a true diversity - not something being shoved on the people like they are trying here.
Things may have changed now, but there was an undertone there that you wouldn’t pick up in a short visit. For the most part, the people were nice, but there were some that harbored animosity to the “colonists” that got the best of everything while the natives were treated like serfs. And the locals actually had it pretty good compared to the Bangladeshi construction workers that were paid a couple of dollars a day and had to sleep in the parks. (actually sleeping in parks wasn’t so bad in Singapore)
We had one driver that hated everything we stood for so much that we requested another to replace him.
LIFE IMITATES ART
Makes you wonder what would cause them to change their minds.
